Coronation

My Coronation as a Chief in our village Church of St. Martin De Porres Catholic Church in Ejule, Nigeria.

His Royal Highness Chief Paul Mohammadu Ocheje Ogohi Ejule Dooga, the Ogohi Attah Ejule Dooga conferred on The Rev. Dr. Julius Okai Abuh the traditional title of The Amana Ogohi Aboo of Ejule.

These coronations are typical for recognition of excellence of citizens who make special contributions to their homelands. in the case of Father Julius Abuh, he has helped in building the Church in his home village of Ejule. He has supplied medical equipment with the help of friends to “The Mercy of Jesus Hospital, Ejule”. He has helped recently to complete the Church windows that were acknowledged by his Bishop, The Most Rev. Anthony Adaji of Idah diocese.

The language used during the Coronation is Igala language which is the first language father Julius Abuh ever learned to speak.

It was a special day marked with eating, drinking and traditional dances.
